Description Bastián Díaz 2015-10-10 16:47:42 UTC
True, the connection to external servers is an option some "hidden" to be available only through native LibreOffice dialogs (non-default). Although there are initiatives to integrate these options natively in GTK+, it is logical that these options should be able to be placed in the LO preferences dialog, specifically in the section Load/Save.

I think that an average user would expect to find most of the settings in the LO preferences dialog, and the connection to external servers is an important feature.

Cheers
