Title not visible. Orientation vertical (default).

When creating a chart, the y axis title is not readable when the orientation is vertical which is default.
Only after changing orientation of the title to horizontal it gets visible.
My assumption is that the anchor point of the title is not in the center.

Title is visible for me and vertically oriented.

Win 7 Pro 64-bit, Version: 5.0.2.2 (x64)

On my Ubuntu installation (vivid) of LO 5.0.2.2 I also see the Y-axis title clearly and vertical, but not on my Windows 7 computer at work. Hmmm...

What do you suggest? Shall I re-install LO on the Windows-Computer?

For the test, could you rename your LibreOffice directory profile (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile) and give it a new try?

No success :-(. See new attachment.
Should I re-install?

What is your setting for Tools - Options - LibreOffice - View - Use OpenGL for all rendering? If enabled, what happens, if you disable it?

Bingo!
Setting was ON. When I switch it off, the y-axis title gets shown correctly!

Thank you very much!

Do you know the reason why the bug appears on this computer and not on others?
I checked on another Win 7 computer and there it works with OpenGL selected.

Different graphics cards.

Not really sure, what to do with reports like these.. I have to ask someone, if this should be closed or left open.

Thank you! Same behavior with a win 10 PC using Libreoffice Version 5.0.2.2 (x64).
Comment 16 How can I remove my account? 2015-12-14 08:47:41 UTC
Might have been fixed by caf52dbc2fa6dbfaf502b7150f13fe38e25443b9 (in 5.1, and the corresponding commit in master).
Comment 17 Buovjaga 2015-12-16 16:40:55 UTC
Please test with 5.1 RC1 to see, if the problem is fixed. http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/pre-releases/win/

If it still happens, please see this for getting your OGL info https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/OpenGL#Windows

Set to NEEDINFO.
Change back to UNCONFIRMED, if the problem persists. Change to RESOLVED FIXED, if the problem went away.

Working nicely for me on both windows and Linux. Please can you test again with 5.1.0 RC2 (due out this week) and re-open if it persists ? so much has been fixed in the GL / VCL impl. since 5.0.0.

Thanks !

Works now with 5.1.0.2! Obviously the problem is solved.
Thanks!
