When having set "Autocorrect styles" in the autocorrect settings in order to make hitting enter twice converting the text into a heading, it also makes text styles convert into default style when hitting enter once.
I ticked: Tools - Autocorrect options - Options - Apply styles. Nothing is converted to a heading after hitting enter twice. Nothing is converted to default style after hitting enter once. Please provide a complete explanation. Set to NEEDINFO. Change back to UNCONFIRMED after you have provided the information.

I select Settings [Funktioner] -> Auto Correct Settings [Autokorrekturindstillinger], select the tab Settings [Indstillinger] and tick Use styles [Anvend typografier]. Then I write a sentence in the style Standardtypografi and hit enter. It changes to Brødtekst. A have attached a document to show what happens.
Ok, so I read the help: https://help.libreoffice.org/Common/Options_3#When_in_Writer:_Apply_Styles "type the text that you want to use as a heading (without a period), and then press Enter twice" I always used a period, so didn't see the change. I confirm that the style changes to Text Body from Default Style. As this behavior is not documented and therefore seems to be incorrect, I'll change this to NEW. There is also bug 90507, which is about everything changing to Text Body, if you do Format - Autocorrect - Apply. I confirmed it happens even if "Apply styles" option is not selected. Bug still exists in version 6.2.2 (64 bit, Win 10).
Created attachment 168781 [details] Right screen ,changes into the left one after clicking auto correct(apply) Reproduced. (In reply to Buovjaga from comment #4) > I confirm that the style changes to Text Body from Default Style. > > As this behavior is not documented and therefore seems to be incorrect, I'll > change this to NEW. Is this a "bug" or an undocumented feature? If "Text Body" (Brødtekst) is considered to be an instance of "Apply Style", then one could understand this option as a way to automatically avoid having "Default Paragraph Style" paragraphs in a document. Just a speculation. Who might know for certain? (or maybe needsUXEval?)
(In reply to Berna from comment #9) > Created attachment 168781 [details] > Right screen ,changes into the left one after clicking auto correct(apply) If the three paragraphs in the "right" screen were Default Paragraph Style, then the left screen is (somewhat) expected (current) behavior. > 1)Auto correction while typing doesnt work. You did not describe what you did, but from the "right" screen in the attachment, it looks like you did not press "Enter" two times after entering the first line. Try again -- make sure to start with an uppercase letter, and do not end with a period, and then press Enter twice. If "Apply Styles" was checked in the AutoCorrect options, then I predict that you will get the first line of the "left" screen (i.e., Heading 1) -- while typing... > 2)When auto correction is applied body font changes and it still doesnt > correct. If you have manually applied a new font type or changed font size to your Default Paragraph Style text, then these changes will be lost if they are different than the font type and font size for "Text Body", and you used "Tools - AutoCorrect - Apply" see bug 90507.
changed bug summary to distinguish it from bug 90507, where same effect happens using Tools - AutoCorrect - Apply
