Screenshots of the usability problem

When using the up/down search arrows at the bottom of the document, if a search result is inside a list, the active controls are moved up and replaced with a set of UI controls for working on lists.

This means the user needs to keep adjusting the mouse position to click through the search results, or risk accidentally clicking on the insert unnumbered entry or restart numbering controls.

See the attached two screenshots.

Repro.
I'll give this to the design team to agonize over.

The Search toolbar should always be pinned below the rest of toolbars to ensure it never moves inadvertently from the mouse pointer’s reach.

The UI now keeps the Find arrows and other UI elements in that area in the same places, and instead adds the extra buttons above all those elements.
Thanks, much appreciated.
