Description Lucia 2015-11-16 00:36:52 UTC
Can't change language of document to English UK. Whatever I do, it turns back to English US.

Nothing helps.

I change the language of the whole text. Everything seems fine. Then when I start typing, it's suddenly changed into 'Multiple languages', because the new text is in English US.

It's extremely annoying.

Hello,
what's your version of LO?
Comment 2 Buovjaga 2015-11-16 13:37:09 UTC
You do it from Tools - Language - For all text?
What operating system are you using?

Set to NEEDINFO.
Change back to UNCONFIRMED after you have provided the information.

Hello,

yes, I tried that, too. I have Win 10.

Several questions or requests:
- Please, explain step by step each method you tried to change the text language.
- Did you try only with an existing document or with a new empty one too?
- Please attach a test file with which you have the problem.
- What do you mean by "the latest version"? You can check the version of your LibreOffice installation by doing menu Help > About LibreOffice

Set status to NEEDINFO. Change back to UNCONFIRMED after you have provided the information.

Best regards. JBF

What keyboard layout do you use? You can select the UK locale with the US keyboard layout and check if this works.
