V4.2.8.2 and v5.0.1 are quite old and not supported any longer. You might wanna try a recent version and report back when you still have the problem.

The current version 5.0.2.2 Build ID:00m0(Build:2) installed in Ubuntu 10.15 and is used by a lot of users has the same problem.
Comment 3 Rob Westein 2015-12-26 09:40:58 UTC
Tested it with LO 5.1 RC1 and here it works fine!
Since I've installed the language pack manually it maybe the PPA installed language file fails.

I've tried to remove and install the language files again with Ubuntu software center but did not solve the problem.

installing it via sudo dpkg -i <folder>/DEBS/*.deb does not work...

The Ubuntu behavior is introduced by the Dutch OpenTaal dictionary of 2.11. The bundled dictionary in Windows has the version 2.0.
Comment 5 Rob Westein 2015-12-26 15:11:30 UTC
The behavior in RC1 5.1 in Ubuntu is the same behavior in Windows which is OK, but that does not solve the problem... since I've installed it manually in Ubuntu I think the mistake in the packing (Linux)

I'm, afraid that the next automatically installed version in Ubuntu / Mint will have the same error...

Who can I contact to solve this?
Comment 6 Urmas 2015-12-26 18:46:39 UTC
The dictionaries are made by http://www.opentaal.org/
Comment 7 Rob Westein 2015-12-27 05:59:36 UTC
I know that the dictionaries are made by opentaal, but isn't it strange that a manual parallel installation of LibreOffice in Ubuntu (from .DEB files) solve the problem? And the the PPA installed LibreOffice is giving this problems?
That is why I'm thinking that the problem is at the PPA installation and not in the dictionaries of opentaal.

then you better should report it to Ubuntu's bug tracker for LO (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice) ... ;) And it would be nice if you could retest it with a newer version of LO than 5.0.2.2, as also requested by tommy27 in Comment10 ... ;)
