Description RS 2015-11-23 17:26:49 UTC
I use the insert image command and after saving (.odt) then, about an hour later, looking back at my document, the photo is missing but place holder is still there. Error says "Graphic Cannot Be Displayed" or "Read Error". Nothing else has changed, the graphic is still in the same directory, etc. I have tried different file extensions (.gif, .png, .jpg, .bmp) and same thing happens to each one of them.

You inserted it as a linked image and not embedded?
Does it also happen with a completely new and blank document?

Set to NEEDINFO.
Change back to UNCONFIRMED after you have provided the information.

Hi,
It was inserted as embedded, not linked.
I double checked the 'link' checkbox and it is unchecked.
It happens on both new and existing documents.
One note for you to test, and this just occurred to me, try different graphics file, in other words, I think it might be happening more frequently on certain types of formats and not on others. The graphics types I use are png, jpg and bmp.

You can increase the amount of memory allowed to the graphic cache of LibreOffice. Menu Tools > Options > LibreOffice > Memory
Does that help ?

Set status to NEEDINFO. Change back to UNCONFIRMED after you have provided the information.

Best regards. JBF
