In the next release, please bring back right-mouse-click access to the description, name, and title properties of Shape objects.

Sure, I can write my own interface for this purpose via StarBasic. But, I imagine many users would rather see a app-level restoration of this now-defunct functionality.

You can access it in the main menu (Format). This was removed from the context menu as it is not a frequently used item (see LibreOffice HIG [1]).
