Testing the function ORARIO (TIME in EN) I found that the times between 24.00 and 24.59.59 were converted incorrectly if the cell format is HH.MM.SS AM/PM or H.MM.SS AM/PM .
See a demo in the attached sheet "orario funct.ods".

I don't know what you see opening the sample I attached, but as you can see from the screenshot now attached I see "12.xx.xx m." where I should see 00.xx.xx m.".
Am I wrong?

I'm not so sure it is wrong, please take a look at:

I don't know what to tell you, in Italy I've never seen so indicated the "small" hours: by writing both verbally we say "at 24 and 35" or "at midnight and 35".
Certainly, would one give me an appointment by writing "at 12:35:15 m." I would interpret as "noon" (not as "midnight").
Also, I have never seen to use the symbols "m." or "p.", usually I see "am" or "pm" (lower or upper case).
Coming back to the calc function, personally, I'd prefer to see "00.35.15 m." rather than "12.35.15 m.".

Hi @gmarco, for you answer I think we can resolve as not a bug.

Personally I prefer to avoid formats that can carry a mistake with them, using a 24 hours format, and for dates a year-month-day when they can be visible for people from a different countries.

Please if you are not agree, reopen it.

Hi, I fully agree on using the 24 hours format, however, since the function exists and can be used in a generic way, to obtain a report passing from 12.59.58m. to 12.59.59m. to 01.00.00m. to 01.00.01m. leaves a bit puzzled or perplexed.
But, if so, you can close the issue.

How to do, sure everyone has their own idea.

On other side change a behavior is always an issue, how the people using it can know it has change?

I think the only way could be ask for a new format enhancement.
