Running LibreOffice 5.0.4.2 on Windows 7 64-bit
(In reply to Ari Latvala from comment #1) > Created attachment 121329 [details] > JPG showing differences So the left pic is MSO I guess But yeah I confirmed with PPT viewer. In LibO the gradient area goes beyond the right border of the box. The gradient stops are too abrupt. Problem still on LO 5.1.0.3 on Windows 7 64-bit
(In reply to Ari Latvala from comment #4) > Problem still on LO 5.1.0.3 on Windows 7 64-bit And still the same on LO 5.2 nightly 2.3.2016 on Windows 7 SP1 64-bit.
And also the latest LO 5.1.1.3 on Windows 7 SP1 64-bit shows really ugly gradients on show mode.
Problem still there on the latest LO 5.2 Beta 1 for Windows 7 SP1 64-bit, especially on presentation mode.
Still no change to this on LO 5.3.3, having these two gradient fills lapping each other and higher but narrower having frame with gradient color on the original file looks just really awful on Impress, when compared to MS PowerPoint. Both the animation and endresult are just unacceptable.

Tested with the latest LO version. On slideshow animation is still not smooth like on MSO. Version: 7.4.4.2 (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 85569322deea74ec9134968a29af2df5663baa21 CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19045; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: fi-FI (fi_FI); UI: en-US Calc: threaded
Looks fine to me in 7.6+, but I'm not a fussy artsy type.
I checked it, my slide looks similar to the left photo in the attachments. So I think there is no bug. Version I tested with: Version: 7.6.0.0.alpha1+ (x86) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 1c98c88a1208f47327ac2f3beaf593521ce9b394 CPU threads: 12; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19045; UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win Locale: pl-PL (pl_PL); UI: en-US Calc: CL threaded
Version: 7.5.3.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 9f56dff12ba03b9acd7730a5a481eea045e468f3 CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19045; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-US (en_FI); UI: en-US Calc: threaded Just checked and with LO 7.5.3 the end result regarding fill gradients colors seems to match MS Office but the LO version of the animation is still really bad, hard to call it animation when compared to MS Office.

Attached videos of LO and MSO versions of gradient animation. Huge difference.
