Description A (Andy) 2015-12-26 16:20:05 UTC
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64; rv:43.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/43.0
Build Identifier: LibreOffice 5.1.0.1

After upgrading from LO 5.0.3.2 to 5.1.0.1 there is a grey line below the menu bar, which I would not expect there. There is also no such grey line in the screenshots on the 5.1 LO Release Notes webpage: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleaseNotes/5.1

Or was this intentionally made as a new feature?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open WRITER, CALC or IMPRESS and take a look at the menu bar at the top
Actual Results:
Grey line below the menu bar.

Expected Results:
No grey line below the menu bar.

OS: Ubuntu 16.04 beta

For me it’s two entire grey boxes around the menu bars: see screenshot. The problem also exists with themes other than Numix (like Gnome’s standard Adwaita).

However, since I’m currently using the unstable Ubuntu Xenial Xerus, this might as well be OS-related.

Do you mean "grey borders around toolbars"?

Yes, of cause. Sorry for that.

The borders around toolbars are known behavior of the gtk3 backend (the one from the libreoffice-gtk3 package). This has nothing to do with the original Windows related bug report.
