Created attachment 121569 [details] Initial view of the reopened document saved in Print Preview mode Calc crashed after clicking the Print Preview button. Document Recovery told that it was successful. After clicking Finish I saw "No Data" on the screen. I went to panic mode. I restarted LibreOffice, called Document Recovery again and got the same "No Data" result. Panic intensified ... Turns out that the document was indeed recovered but shown in the Print Preview mode. This caused the "No Data" message on the screen. So please show the document in Normal View after recovery. Providing a valid Print Preview may depend on the current printer which may change between crash and recovery.
To solve the crash, please try resetting the user profile, sometimes solves strange issues. https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile Usually it's enough renaming/deleting the file "user/registrymodifications.xcu", it affect all the options in Menu/Tools/Options, and the files "user/basic/dialog.xlc" and "scrip.xlc" are overwritten, additionally custom colors in "user/config/standard.soc" are lost.
For me not reproducible with LO 5.1.0.1, Win 8.1 I opened a CALC sheet in the Print Preview and forced a crash of LO (task termination). After the successful recovery the sheet is shown in the Normal View, but not in the Print Preview. @Hb: Which Operating System are you using?

But I doubt that task termination is equivalent to a task crash which happens instantly. Main focus of this report is to see some content after opening a document.
