Per issue 59418 the behavior for F4 changed.
Now both F4 and Shft+F4 do the same.
IMO it's better to give users the choice, as is done with more legacy<>Excel key bindings in Options > Calc > Interoperability.

Hi Mario,

I added the suggestion there. And indeed there are one or two supporters of the idea. But there was no conclusion or patch. So I though a new issue would be best.
What do you think?

Really I don't know, but if you prefer to follow in this thread, set up as new, make the choice available it's the best solution.
