1- Open a odt file. 2- Switch to edit mode. 3- Touch to keyboard button (at the top-right of the screen) You will see that keyboard does not hide.
Keyboard can be closed with back button but i think keyboard icon should be able to close keyboard too.
Mert Tumer committed a patch related to this issue. It has been pushed to "master": http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=fbda3f9a8d2d3f2ccd7999a3f110c56bce38c1d8 tdf#96810 - Fix Android Viewer: Keyboard can not hide with keyboard button. It will be available in 5.3.0. The patch should be included in the daily builds available at http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/ in the next 24-48 hours. More information about daily builds can be found at: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Testing_Daily_Builds Affected users are encouraged to test the fix and report feedback.

As far as I can see, this works as expected with Version: 7.2.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: a9a9d66 and the commit mentioned in comment 2 fixed it. -> Closing as fixed.
