Description zahra 2016-01-22 09:55:50 UTC
hi.
i tested libreoffice version 5/.1.0.2 today and its very slow in my system using windows xp Professional
Version 2002
Service Pack 3
Computer:
Genuine Intel(R) CPU
 T2250 @ 1.73GHz
1.73 GHz, 2.49 GB of RAM
Physical Address Extension
.
i did not active open gl and by default its uncheck.
when i want to set its options nvda reads them very slow and its slower than the previous versions in opening a file and my screen reader is nvda version 2015.2
thanks and god bless you.

@Nasrin,

Can not reproduce with NVDA 2015.3 and Windows 8.1 64-bit en-US with
Version: 5.1.0.1 (x64)
Build ID: bcace328aabc4c8c10b56daa87da0a2ee6579b5a
Threads 8; Ver: Windows 6.29; Render: GL;

Sorry to say, but you also are fighting a loosing battle with Windows XP and the 32-bit builds. You are unlikely to have any level of viable OpenGL support--so better to manually set it disabled (if not already blacklisted) from Tools -> Options -> View and uncheck the "Use OpenGL for all rendering (on restart)" check box.

And looking at your related bug 97313 you have user profile issues with multiple installs of LibreOffice and Apache OpenOffice to resolve.

Get that sorted, then with a clean user profile and OpenGL verified disabled, you should have reasonable NVDA response.

Setting NEEDINFO respond with results for clean user profile and OpenGL specifically disabled.

hi.
as i mentioned, i only use my system and use libreoffice in my system alone that i sent its hardware description for you.
i forgot to say my graphic cardis only one.
i think that because of adding many new features to libreoffice 5.1 specially the graphical and images features, it requests powerful hardware and does not work properly and fast as good as its previous versions.
libreoffice 5.1 is extremely different with its previous versions in having new featurs.
its a realy revolution in libreoffice and when i installed it and tested it, i supposed that is a completely new program, even more professional than microsoft office.
as i mentioned in bug 97313 before, i installed deep freeze and most of times its active.
when i want to test the new version, i completely uninstalled libreoffice and even remove its files from documentsand settings, user, application, libreoffice folder, when my system is frozen.
and its very far for me to have problems with my user profiles.
i request you to make it compatible with older hardware, as you did this great help and solved the problems with the cpus that have not sse2 support.

Removing ux-advice from the list of CC (closing this ticket as INVALID sounds okay to me).

hello.
i appologize for the delay for the response.
i reported many bugs and i forgot the numbers for some of them to return and comment.
this problem fixed for me in many versions ago, specially version 5.2
the only problem is for reporting headers of some options that they are not related to accessibility and they are relates to some delay in showing them in libreoffice which causes delay for reading in nvda or any screen reader.
i confirm that this bug is fixed completely for me.
you can set it to resolved.
thanks so much for your great program, i dont forget your kindness, sincerely pray for you in my every day praying, and request divine infinite mercy and blessings for you.
