Created attachment 122498 [details] pdf selection Hello, you have to use File->Export to PDF-> check "selection". Are you doing these steps? Works correct in LO 5.0.4.2
Hello. I do exactly that. Thus I am also selecting the option "compression without loss" (that change nothing), and I am in the french translation :). The export works, but the exported sheet is not trimmed to selected elements. My version is 5.0.2.2 as provided by Ubuntu with 15.10 64 bit.

Works for me with 5.0.2.2, ubuntu 15.10 64 bit.
Excuse me but...O_o Strange, I join the created PDF with the whole sheet and not only the selected objects (the diagram).

OK, thank to Raal, I will precise the issue in my opinion. When select a set of elements, the export to pdf correctly only export the selected elements. But it also export the rest of slid. This behavior is incorrect in my opinion as an export to other format (e.g. svg) using the same option "selection" produce and image trimmed to selected elements. In my opinion, the export to pdf using the "selection" option should produce a trimmed pdf document reduced to selected elements (act like export to svg for example).
I understand Impress and Draw have the same code in this area, so closing this as dupe of an older Draw report. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 73657 ***
