The Ubuntu global menu is not working after update to LO fresh (5.1.0.3) and the dropdown menus have white borders around them. The first row of icons also now have the dark ubuntu colour rather than the standard light grey.

There is also a double sidebar wall and the scrollbars do not update with the current location of the orange bar but rather hang meaning you cannot tell where in the document you are.

I'm running ubuntu 15.10 64-bit.

This is my first report, please let me know what useful info I can provide.

Remove the libreoffice-gtk3 package.

Alex: did comment 1 help?

Unfortunately I will not be able to check this until the weekend. I'll be sure to post how it goes.

Thanks for the help.

That fixed it, thank you very much.

Caolán fixed the global menu for gtk3 in https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=59d978389721c780b1df5e54b833fe75576dd034

So, the solution is to remove libreoffice-gtk3 package? (this solved the problem for me) Or the next version will fix this dark border issue?

No need to remove at least for this bug, as it is fixed.

And what about dark border in sidebar and toolbar? Is it fix or there should be a new bug report?

You should test it and if it is not fixed, open another bug report.
