I try to add a column and copy/pasting into most sheets in the attachment. I first did it by hand, however, the app crashes after about 15 sheets, every time. I then write a macro (called "temp" in the file) to do it, and it also crashes. I then found that the app consumed all memory until it crashes.

Please refer to "Sub Temp" in the file to see what causes the memory leak.

4.3.3.2 is quite old.
Please give a try to a recent LO version (last stable one is 5.0.4 or brand new one 5.1.0)

It's not a memory leak, when inserting the columns/cells and copying the data for each operation an Undo operation is created and at one point the Windows 32-bit version is out of memory. Disable Undo or limit it to 1-3 operations to remember, or use a 64-bit version with enough RAM.
