Created attachment 122689 [details] Zip file containing two attachments (demo file to replicate the bug and a stack trace) I have an ods file with formulas at columns N to T (see attachment 1). Imagine I am at row 5 and I want to apply the formulas of each column to all the other rows below. I do these actions - place the cursor in cell 5N - hold the shift key and then click on cell 5T to highlight the 7 consecutive cells in row 5 - place the cursor above the bottom right corner of cell 5T so it transforms to a cross - press the right mouse button as I start dragging the cross down. At this point the program crashes. You can also find the detailed report that is automatically generated and sent to apple (see attachment 2)

dtsirikos: you could try, if this helps: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#Resolving_corruption_in_the_user_profile
(In reply to Beluga from comment #3) > dtsirikos: you could try, if this helps: > https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ > UserProfile#Resolving_corruption_in_the_user_profile I did remove the old user profile directory, and it automatically created a new one when I opened LibreOffice. However the problem still persists, doing exactly the steps I have described in my original bug report. I just tested this on an iMac and it still crashes, exactly at the moment when I pull the cross downwards, to apply the formatting to the other cells, starting at row 5. Thanks very much for your support!
Tried to reproduce again just to test and now it actually crashed I made a mistake when trying to reproduce it the first time. You have to drag it down when the crosshair is showing BUT I could only produce it every now and then when pressing both left and right mouse buttons at the same time and then dragging. It's really hard to reproduce on your first try. See video: https://youtu.be/AjeVL1nhXPQ (MAKE SURE TO HAVE ANNOTATIONS ON TO SEE MY COMMENTARY) My debug info during the recording: http://pastebin.com/aateXKgx My debug info from another crash: http://pastebin.com/NwVM7NTH
When you click the bottom right of a field and drag left, the tooltip says "delete content". When you drag further left/top it however gives you the normal functionality of dragging the formula to other fields. So far so good I have encountered a bug 2-3 times already where after dragging a formula to different fields left/top of it and then copy and pasting (I think with the special "insert special" function) the application freezes, then crashes and afterwards my spreadsheet is completely emtpy or doesn't exist if I haven't saved previously (no backup is restored) Possibly the 2 are related/the same ? I had this bug on windows xp,7 and linux already
** Please read this message in its entirety before responding ** To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Just tested it on Mac OS X El Capitain with LibreOffice 5.2.7.2 and it works fine.
