Have you tested the options for the graphics card in Menu/Tools/LibreOffice/View?

Disabling the OpenGL
Comment 2 Theo.Jakobus 2016-03-10 20:07:34 UTC
There are 2 options for OpenGL in Menu -> Tools -> LibreOffice -> View and both are disabled.

On my notebook:
LibreOffice CALC 5.0.5.2 works fine.
LibreOffice CALC 5.1.0.3 doesn't show an empty spreadsheet. The area is black as shown in the attachment.

Hi Theo,
Thanks for the screenshot. Could you please also attach a test spreadsheet file "saved with version 5.0.5" as you specify in your original report? That will help us to independently reproduce your results as accurately as possible.
