Description John Wright 2016-03-10 14:49:22 UTC
FILEOPEN
When opening a text file with more than 65536 rows, only the first 65536 are opened and no warning is given. If the same file is opened in MS Excel and saved in xlsx format, the whole xlsx file can be opened in Calc with no problem. The file I was trying to open had over 500,000 rows.

4.2.8.2 is EOL, could you give a try to a recent LO version (last stable one is 5.0.5 or even brand new 5.1.1)
