Description milenko.babic 2016-03-22 19:55:09 UTC
Windows 7 32-bit PC

Libreoffice Calc crashes randomly when multiple (around 10) files are open. I haven't tried it with only one or two files opened if that makes any difference.

Crashes appear many times during an 8-hour work day. Even if I'm working in another program, Calc still crashes in the background. Sometimes files are not saved and it's impossible to work like that.

It's always the MSVCR120.dll module as you can see below from the Windows Application log:

Faulting application name: soffice.bin, version: 5.1.1.3, time stamp: 0x56d5cb71
Faulting module name: MSVCR120.dll, version: 12.0.21005.1, time stamp: 0x524f7ce6
Exception code: 0x40000015
Fault offset: 0x000a7676
Faulting process id: 0xdc4
Faulting application start time: 0x01d17ec8b1a15dd3
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\LibreOffice 5\program\soffice.bin
Faulting module path: C:\Windows\system32\MSVCR120.dll
Report Id: 2a530f56-eac7-11e5-bf55-7427ea6867c4

The same error also happens with Still version 5.0.5.2.

I've deleted a Libreoffice profile but no difference.

I've run SFC /scsnnow but found no problems.

I've re-installed Visual Studio to refresh this MSVCR120.DLL file but no difference.

Seems to be a duplicate of bug 93553.

Please try to simulate the situation with a fresh master build: http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master/Win-x86@62-merge-TDF/current/

Set to NEEDINFO.
Change back to UNCONFIRMED, if the crashing persists. Change to RESOLVED DUPLICATE of 93553, if the crashing went away.

I have been having the same problem in both LibreOffice release 5.1.1.3 and 5.1.2.2. In several years of use I have only experienced this once or twice. Since 5.1.1.3, I experience it several times a day. Herewith, reports on two recent instances.
