I updated from LibreOffice 5.0.5.2 to 5.1.1.3 and when I open a CSV file in the Calc program, I no longer have the "Freeze" option on the Window menu. The only options I have now on the Window Menu are New Window and Close Window. I uninstalled the latest version and reinstalled the older version, and that Freeze option is now gone from the older version as well. So, I'm guessing it messed up something in the registry or some options file that I can't find. I only use LibreOffice for a few things so have not customized or otherwise changed any of the standard options. Last week, I had the Freeze option. Now, it is completely gone. I have searched and searched to see if I could find anything about this and could not. My computer is Windows 7 Pro with 16 gb memory. Thanks for any help. Barbara
It's just under the view menu now....UX team made a lot of tweaks.....takes some getting used to.
view -> Freeze Cells sorry should have said that to begin with.
Joel, Thanks for the explanation. That is a very annoying place for it to say the least :) Barbara

I'm not a huge fan of the changes either but I'm not the one doing the work and we have a "doers decide" policy which I entirely support :) After using them for a month or so I'm slowly adjusting. If you're not able to locate other menu options I'd suggest asking on the user mailing list (dozens have changed).
