Small file, no formulas, only text.  Simple spreadsheet saved fine several times, but had filled column background and column was selected when I hit save.  LO hung up and was force quit.  Can send detailed Apple report if requested.

Would it be possible you attach a simple file to reproduce this easily?

(Have in mind that any attachment is automatically made public, so remove any confidential/private part from it).

BTW, I put it as MacOs since you spoke about Apple.
