"Hide Whitespace" alters the position of automatic page breaks in the text flow, affecting the pagination. Apparently, hiding the whitespace in normal-view mode makes Writer count the entire paper height as printable area. In effect, the top and bottom margins are added to the main editing area, rather than just hidden. This seemingly creates extra space on a page, which is then filled by the first few lines from the following page, and the effect accumulates on each subsequent page. This issue looks similar to bug 94164 and bug 94165 but specifically concerns automatic page breaks and the top and bottom margins. Steps to reproduce: 1. Disable "View → Hide Whitespace". 2. Add dummy text so that it exceeds one page. Take note of the text right before and after the automatic page break. 3. Enable "View → Hide Whitespace". The page break, as indicated by a thin horizontal line, is now positioned a little further down as compared to the text flow. Automatic page breaks should stay constant in relation to the text, regardless of whether the whitespace between pages is hidden or not. On the right, the same document with "Hide Whitespace" enabled, allowing the text to flow uninterrupted. However, the position of the page break is still unchanged in relation to the paper height.

On 6.1.3.1 the page length increases when text is added after the last line on a (non-last) page while in hide whitespace mode.
