Database Properties in BASE

I am trying to use Libre Base v5.1.1.3 on my Windows 7 64-bit PC to connect to an Advantage Data Server table using Advantage JDBC (ADS is running on a SLES 11 SP4 VM). Using Advantage Arc v.11.10.0.24 on my Windows PC, I created a new Data Dictionary called 'data_test.add' and created a simple table. I installed the ADS JDBC on my PC, added the class path to Java 1.8 and set up the connection via the wizard in Base. I tested the 'Test Class' and 'Test Connections' and those all work. The issue seems to be with my 'JDBC:extendedsystems:advantage://ads-srv:6262;Catalog=//ads-srv/data/data_test.add' Data Source URL and the ADS file extension of my Dictionary name which is .add. That add is being striped from the URL path and added to my Table names for some reason (See attachment). When I click on the table in Base I get the error "The data content cannot be loaded" and file not found because the name of the table is being changed from tblusers to add.tblusers.

I tried ODBC today and see the exact same issue in Libre Base 5.1.x.If the ODBC or JDBC Data Source contains a period '.' in it's path it will append anything after that period to the table name. I tried quotation marks and single quotes with no luck. Is this a known issue? I can't find anything about it online and have found that this issue does not exist if I use MS Access 2013 to connect to my Advantage Data Dictionary or if I use RazorSQL.

table names prefixed with our file type '.add'

Attachment shows how our Database "//smopsrv3/DATA/smallops/smohouse.add" is being appended to the table names below using the latest version of Libre.

pbmtech: Advantage Data Server is proprietary and don't think it'll be available for free on Linux + it concerns specifically ODBC so it means we needs ODBC drivers.
On Linux, ODBC driver is unsupported so if we got a pb and it's related to ODBC driver, we're stuck. (see https://devzone.advantagedatabase.com/dz/content.aspx?Key=20&Release=19&Product=14)

So either you can try to debug it yourself (if you know programming of course) or you may also pay someone to do it.
Indeed, I don't expect someone will give it a try considering the prerequisites to only test this.
IMHO, it should be put to RESOLVED/WONTFIX.

Xisco: even if database file is attached, then what? Did I miss something?
