If you take a range of cells and one of them is div/0 and you use a formula like this formatting value equals large(range,2) then the complete range gets formatted, even if only 1 value is div/0. You can't avoid that even with iserror as far as I have tested. Maybe this is intended behaviour but I would expect that div/0 takes rank 1 and the rest is ranked as usual.
