As it says in the summary. Files saved in LibreOffice Calc will open in the full excel but are unopenable in the Excel viewer. Unsure of version, it's the version available for download off of Ninite.
And what makes you think this is a bug in LibreOffice and not in Excel Viewer? Did officeotron (or any other validator) found the files invalid?
