1. Installation LіbreOffice done on the OS WindowsXP Professional ver.2002 SP3 (AMD Athlon(tm)64[2x Dual Core Processor 4800+ 2.50Gh 896 Mb)with the graphic card NVIDIA GeForce 7050PV /nForce 630a (dim. 1366x768).
2 When you open a document of the interface - (see picture 2016-04-19_114309.png).
3 In the settings is not possible to change.

How can we change this?

Disable OpenGL rendering?

Open the LibreOffice user registry and edit the registrymodifications.xcu with a text or XML editor.

Change the UseOpenGL stanza to false.

<item oor:path="/org.openoffice.Office.Common/VCL"><prop oor:name="UseOpenGL" oor:op="fuse"><value>false</value></prop></item>

Let us know if that helps, and post up details of the graphics drivers your GPU is using, found in the opengl_device.log in the cache folder of your user profile.

OP replied in PM as below, and with the drivers listed and Windows XP SP3 operating system-- OpenGL should be disabled and not a factor with the poor UI rendering.

<snip>

Thank you for the quick response.

1.The folder "C:\Documents and Settings\user1\Application Data\LibreOffice\4\cache" is empty.

2. Attempt to add the recommended string in the user registry (see. in annex), unfortunately, has not yielded a positive result.
 After leaving LO this row is deleted automatically.

@SergR
did you try LibO 5.1.2.2 ?
you can test a portable release to see if icons are shown or not.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/winpenpack/files/X-LibreOffice/releases/
Comment 4 Buovjaga 2016-04-29 11:26:17 UTC
Set to NEEDINFO.
Change back to UNCONFIRMED, if the problem persists in 5.1.x. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.

Don't think so, other than that it is a hardware/driver issue. tdf#107166 is DirectWrite D2Write font rendering--here fonts are rendered but other graphics elements are dropped--we saw that with some of the early OpenGL glitches.
