Description Elmar 2016-04-29 10:40:52 UTC
If I add a column to the left or above of the freeze, the freeze remains at the originally specified row / column.

Let's say that the colC has a name, and Row 5 has heading text. If I freeze on D6, that makes sense.

If I now add a column after A, the name is no longer part of the frozen pane. Similarly if I add a row after row 1, the heading is no longer part of the frozen pane.

I can confirm with Version: 5.2.0.0.alpha0+; win7
Comment 2 Elmar 2016-04-30 05:10:41 UTC
I have checked it in v4 and v5.1, so this seems always to have been like this. It is not serious just an quirk that does not make sense.

please set the oldest known version, ideally to test if the bug is "inherited from Ooo" (probably is)- https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

Repro 6.2+. I'll set as Enhancement (not to get retest messages).

This bug is still present in LO 7.0.3.1

Why was this set as an enhancement? For example, if I freeze row four, I do so because of the content of the row. If more rows are inserted at the top, the freezing should also be moved. So I think, this is a bug.
