Description bfede 2016-05-04 13:19:05 UTC
I apologize for the lingia translated by google translated
The problem that arises is the following, when I enter the notes (in LibreOffice Calc ver 5.0.5.2), save the file and close it, when I open the file it's all right, meeting notes, but if I rename the file or or do I copy it saves a copy, often notes that I had previously entered lose them (are deleted) and this thing is very awkward because I'm going to lose fundamental indications that I had written in the notes.

Hello,
few questions:
 - notes are comments? https://help.libreoffice.org/Common/Comment_1
 - what's the file format? ods, xls,xlsx?
Thanks
Comment 2 bfede 2016-05-04 14:53:30 UTC
the file format is ods
Comment 3 bfede 2016-05-04 14:55:52 UTC
I do not know if the problem also exists with .xls and .xlsx files as libreoffice use only and not rarely do exports in these formats
Comment 4 bfede 2016-05-04 14:59:29 UTC
I apologize for the lack of response to enter notes indicate I wanted to add comments
Comment 5 raal 2016-05-05 08:19:34 UTC
No repro with 5.1, win7

Steps:
new calc file, save file as .ods
insert comment in a cell
save as new file in .ods format
close, reopen

Please install newer version and retest: https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/
Thank you

I installed the new version and did some tests, okay.
This issue was already presented with another old version but not reported to me, as I always update to the latest stable version available, I hope that does not happen again for future versions.

Thank you
