Page numbering resets in middle of document when adding Manual Page Breaks and cannot be continued from previous numbering. There is no way to undo page numbering that has been reset to 0 to continue linear sequence page numbering throughout document. You cannot see where manual page breaks have been inserted and there are no options to edit Page Break page numbering or remove the settings that resulted in a page altering its number sequence. Copying and pasting information in the document also copies Manual Page break settings. Deleting pages that have been Manually Page breaked still results in re-setting of page numbers to 0 and does not delete the formatting.
Hi Elizabeth, Thanks for posting here. Let me give some explanation. (In reply to Elizabeth from comment #0) > Page numbering resets in middle of document when adding Manual Page Breaks This depends on the settings you make > and cannot be continued from previous numbering. There is no way to undo > page numbering that has been reset to 0 to continue linear sequence page > numbering throughout document. '0' means it continues numbering; any other number restarts numbering with that number. > You cannot see where manual page breaks have been inserted there is a darker line between the pages. > and there are no options to edit Page Break page numbering or > remove the settings that resulted in a page altering its number sequence. Put the cursor in the paragraph and choose Format > Paragraph .. Text flow. > Copying and pasting information in the document also copies Manual Page > break settings. Please look in the Help for page breaks and try extra support if needed: http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/community-support/ If there is something broken, please report back. For now I set this was WorksForMe. Regards,
