I have a big sheet reduce to a smal file with only formatting.
By save to XSLX give error and in the sheet delete all conditional formatting in the sheet. Can you help to resolve this problem?

I tested on Ubuntu 32 bits with LibreOffice 5.1.3.2 Locale nl_NL and LibreOffice daily20160525 Locale en_US.

Both in 5.1.3.2 and daily I saved two versions as xlsx: one done Cltr+A and one done Click left point.

All the 4 files opened without error in Excel 2010.
But file https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=125155 you provided, does give the error on opening.

So possibly a difference between behaviour of LibreOffice on Windows 64 bits and Ubuntu 32 bits..

I have test in the latest LO 5.4.3.2/6.0.0.0beta2 (x64)windows + Lo 5.4.2.2 Ubuntu and there is still a error present. It is slightly different.

To reproduce:
1) open attachment "test file"
2) click a random cell c20
3) click left point sheet(full sheet) or do Cltr+A (it doesn't make difference)
4) choose "clear direct formatting"
5) save as *.xlxs
6) when opening in excel give a error

No reproduce, where step 2 is skipped:
1) open attachment "test file"
2) click left point sheet(full sheet) or do Cltr+A (it doesn't make difference)
3) choose "clear direct formatting"
4) save as *.xlxs
5) when opening in excel didn't give a error

The example file saved with current nightly

Export is still bad in:

Version: 7.2.0.0.alpha0+ (x64)
Build ID: e97a81e94511b52987a50b7bdb72c922899da588
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 6.3 Build 9600; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: hu-HU (hu_HU); UI: en-US
Calc: CL

However reproduction steps are different:
- Saving attachment #125154 [details] unchanged results this file - broken, Excel finds unreadable content in xl/styles.xml
- Cleaning all direct formatting from attachment #125154 [details] results in an Excel-compatible file.

Also the original file does not contain conditional formatting.
