Description: I see my track changes comments are "unknown author". I google how to fix it and find https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/82521/when-i-create-a-comment-the-words-unknown-author-appears-in-the-comment-box-how-do-i-change-that-to-my-name-initials-or-nickname/ which seems reasonable. Make those changes, but my name doesn't appear in the comment as the author. Do you use existing DOCX file for your comments or you create a new file in Writer and then you save it as DOCX? Please give us more clear steps for repro.
Sorry, you are right, this was a terrible report. Yes, it was a docx file created by an external source. I couldn't tell you which software was used to create it, but I guess MS Word is a good guess. I did not check by creating a docx file in LO and then testing.

Hello, if you have a document with some changes and you change the author' configuration, those changes are going to remain the same, as they were done before changing the author's information.
