In the Customize... dialog, Keyboard tab, we have a search box for searching the commands - but we can't search the defined shortcuts. There are... probably over 200 shortcuts, and we should not have to examine each and every one of them to search for something.
One should already be able to type the shortcut to jump to it. This is mentioned in the tooltip and extended tooltip, but maybe we should change this into a Documentation issue as it's not listed in https://help.libreoffice.org/latest/en-US/text/shared/01/06140200.html ?
(In reply to Stéphane Guillou (stragu) from comment #1) > One should already be able to type the shortcut to jump to it. Well, I was thinking about a search which would match both fields, but this is good enough I suppose.
Let's recycle this as a docs improvement, as I think it needs to be more discoverable.
Stéphane Guillou committed a patch related to this issue. It has been pushed to "master": https://git.libreoffice.org/help/commit/f042658be3bb4621450b4155f0dd5c400f1b641a tdf#154609: mention option to search by shortcut
