Suppose I want to customize one of my menus. I open the Tools | Customize dialog, select the appropriate menu as the target, scroll down, and select some point - or rather some item - where I want to add a new command. I locate the command on the left, and press the rightwards arrow. Expected result: New item added either before or after the selected item Actual result: New item added at start of menu, and the listbox scrolls up there Only without a selection would it make any sense to add an item at the beginning, and even then not necessarily :-(

You guys are so quick to dismiss bug reports, even from people you know often report valid bugs... I wonder what happens to just random users who file something. Anyway, try: Scope: Writer Target: Edit Search string: Select Selected item on "Available Commands" list (left side): Select Sentence Selected item on "Assigned Command" list (right side): The separator right after "Select Text", or "Select Text" itself Build info: Version: 7.6.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 5cd9de202765e243e41416802f3e4486b8a96f16 CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 6.1; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: he-IL (en_IL); UI: en-US Calc: threaded
(In reply to Eyal Rozenberg from comment #3) > Anyway, try... The command is added after the selected item. Do you get fooled by the fact that the list scrolls up? > Target: Edit So "Menus" not "Context Menus", but doesn't matter. Removing UX to reduce noise; the requested behavior is clearly what is expected- and was has been implemented. If there is an issue it's a bug.

Do you get fooled by the fact > that the list scrolls up? Yes I did! That's egg on my face I guess. Shall I: * Re-resolve as INVALID and do nothing? * Change the title and rephrase the description in a new comment? * Re-resolve as INVALID and open a different bug?
