Description: In some circumstances, working with OOXML, GDI inserted graphics can be rendered with a different appearance than the original PDF source. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open attached 'Malvern.pdf' in LibreOffice Draw 2. Select all, and copy 3. Insert into eg. Writer as GDI (Ctrl+Shift+V) 4. Save as OOXML format (eg. .docx) 5. Reopen Actual Results: A gray background is displayed in the region of footer. Expected Results: The footer should have a white/transparent background. Created attachment 192993 [details] PDF causing problem This PDF was edited in Master PDF Editor. I assure, that untouched file, directly after export form Malvern software causes the same behaviour.

Although, I still not understand what this [META] category is about, I see that this was indeed an inappropriate block. Please excuse my ignorance. I think that this ticket is also not about [META] Bug 104522 (DOCX-Header-Footer), as Bogdan Buzea suggested (2024-03-24 11:41:20 UTC). As 7-Zip opened affected DOCX archive ('Affected-GDI' attachment 192991 [details]) contains *image1.wmf* the [META] Bug 103859 (EMF-WMF) should be better category. It looks like there is some issue with converting attachment from SVM to WMF.
