Description nemzag 2016-01-13 12:09:08 UTC
Hi,

I use an Ex‑tensi‑ôn pro my browser to change eviil Franco‑Latino‑Britannico‑Greco‑Semito‑Toscano‑Scipio words in to Têtshêllêngég Geg‑ôn‑ist terms, but I ask‑ed to the dev (Marc Ruiz) if he can allow to im‑porth the modi‑fica‑ti‑ôn made in Writer, in FoxReplace (im‑porth) he re‑spond‑ed it is to much vork वोरक ۋرقة, and I in‑fra‑stand...

So I'm ask‑ing this, and it is very im‑porth‑anth, please, Devs of Libre Office, allow us to im‑port the modi‑fica‑ti‑ôn ("FoxReplace.json") in Writer / Calc Auto‑cor‑rec‑ti‑ôn some‑how (and by choosing which language) ???

It would be cool and we will not need to make two time the change...

Please, please. Amiinë.

Tũng.

Ʒood day & Kanth you...

Hi nemzag,
It sounds like this is an enhancement request, so I'll set Severity -> enhancement

It's unclear to me what the goal is here regarding autocorrection. Is FoxReplace.json related to an existing LibreOffice extension? Please explain further. Thanks!

FoxReplace modification

File con‑tain‑ing data that I would like to be able to im‑porth in auto‑cor‑rec‑ti‑ôn, by select‑ing "im‑porth" under "delete" in "Auto Cor‑rect" "Re‑place"....

Hi Robinson Tryon (qubit),

Yes, it an ên‑ħanth‑mênth حانث re‑quest !

FoxReplace.json is rë‑lath‑ed to ex‑tên‑si‑ôn "FoxReplace" in Firefox
- https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/firefox/addon/foxreplace/

And soon in Chrome to, be‑cause the author told me that an new com‑pati‑bili‑ty A.P.I is re‑leas‑ed to al‑lov to use an ex‑ten‑si‑ôn in any naviga‑tor...

I at‑tach‑ed the file in a previous this post !!!
It is a file con‑tain‑ing data that I would like to be able to im‑porth in auto‑cor‑rec‑ti‑ôn, by select‑ing "im‑porth" under "delete" in "Auto Cor‑rect" "Re‑place", and it would be cool to be able to choose in which languages :
- French (Belgium),
- French (France),
- English (US),
- All...

Or êvën beddër in a pers‑ôn‑al language that we can create (like this) :
- French (Nemzag)
- English (Nemzag]
- All (Nemzag)
(back‑up able in "cloud"...)
Like I re‑quest‑ed here :

I use "FoxReplace" to change some text in web‑page to avoid mind pro‑gramm‑ing and hypnose (bad terms : word, world)...
My FoxReplace is al‑ready long, and I asked to the author re‑tro‑com‑pati‑bili‑ty with LibreOffice to be able to edit both list in one time, by sharing the êditi‑ôn file in both tool, buth he re‑fus‑ed, say‑ing it is to much work (pro one man only), and I com‑pre‑hend !!! So now I'm ask‑ing to Open/LibreOffice devs, to be able to im‑porth the list in "Auto‑Cor‑rec‑ti‑ôn", and if possi‑bile with some im‑prowe‑menth, like :
- https://www.pinterest.com/pin/273804852323401273/

"Match case" in "auto‑cor‑rec‑ti‑ôn ? Pro terms that we don't want to add twice, and who shall be muthathë‑édë in "CAPITAL" or "minuscule". Plêasë !
Like in FoxReplace...

"In‑tra‑Term modi‑fica‑ti‑ôn :

That's all !!!

Kanth you pro re‑spond‑ing...
Comment 4 nemzag 2016-01-15 13:50:04 UTC
Creat‑ing ône uni‑vers‑al file‑format and ône unique file (pro easi‑est modi‑fica‑ti‑ôn back‑up able in cloud) shar‑ed in Open/Libre Of‑fice / Micro‑soft Of‑fice, FoxReplace and others tools of this kind, to be able to make all edit one time would be drêam !!!
Comment 5 Buovjaga 2016-01-15 18:52:20 UTC
I'm sorry, but this is too niche to be included in the main program. Again, a custom extension would work best. Closing as wontfix.
Comment 6 nemzag 2016-01-15 18:58:43 UTC
Please don't set it at "wontfix", these (autocorrector) programs (Libre office or foxreplace an others) should have a common format (universal)...

And this should be able to import in Libre Office and also the file prom Foxreplace should be importable in Libre Office...

You talk about extension ? I didn't know that we can tweak Libre Office, how to get these custom ???
