OOo/LO prints landscape pages on portrait printers from right to left, so that the top of the landscape page is at the right edge of the print. Both for mixed docs (containing both portrait and landscape pages/subdocuments) and for bindings or printing on punched paper this is shit. Buttom of page at the side of the binding/punches? Nobody wants that. For non-duplex printing the easiest solution would be to alter the default to printing from letf to right. For duplex printing alternation is needed. Best would be a user-configureable setting. More details/samples here: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=22536

Yes, I also often suffer from that problem.
