Confirm!

I would leave it, because "Beta" also is a generic term for software in a pre- ready to use state.

When we really have the considered opinion that the current RC is the one that will become "Stable", we should eliminate the "Beta" on the general download page and only use those titles in the text for Developer versions, Betas and so on.

So imho this currently is not a bug, but we should be prepared for release of stable version. For this I will nominate this one as BLOCKER.

Florian Effenberger has already forwarded this problem to the website and design list.

zip file containing the website download graphics without "beta"

I extracted the png files from the source Christoph Noack provided on the wiki:
http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/File:TDF-Website-Initial-Design-Package.zip

They kept the names of the beta files, so they could be replaced easily.

(I added two more buttons: "GNU/Linux (RPM)" and "GNU/Linux (DEB)" so it would be possible to replace "GNU/Linux" and "GNU/Linux (64bit)" by the different package systems if the community decides to do so)

Best regards

Bernhard
