Windows Start Menu shows Sun icons, but icon folder shows LibreOffice icons.

I encountered a minor issue when I installed LibreOffice 3.3.1 under Windows XP Professional SP 3. In some cases, the icons displayed in the Start Menu are the original Sun icons. Please reference the attached screen capture.

Try to delete the Windows icons cache (it's an hidden file named IconCache.db in your user folder) and reboot Windows.

That resolved the issue. All icons appear as they should now. Thank you.
