[This is an automated message.]
This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it
started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed. The bug is
changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back
to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases.
Details on how to test the 3.5.0 beta1 can be found at:

Reproduced in 3.6.0 on Fedora 64 bit
But how this file created?
Comment 7 MisterE2002 2012-08-25 07:09:21 UTC
i retried it with 3.5.4.2. Still the same, but i have to remove the table rows behind the picture to get the right amount of pages.
I think i created the file originally in OO but i'm not sure. It's a while ago.
Comment 8 Florian Reisinger 2012-08-26 15:38:45 UTC
Okay don't be mad, but that's how it seems to me:

Document somehow !!seems!! to got saved with a false page number (1/13)
Now LO opens the document and recalculates the number of pages (1/6)

And the picture: That happens too often IMHO

Now change the"Verankerung" (Can be set to char / page) [3rd from top when right-clicking the image]

All pages appear again...

IMHO ( and I am very strict now): Is it worth to fix this bug?? Only one document affected AND it works, when you move the pic and save it...

Please comment...

If it is confirmed with 1 document we should mark as NEW and prioritize accordingly (low if it's only one document). This way the developers know that it's not affecting a ton of documents but it may be a really simple fix that can save headaches for someone seeing the same problem in the future.

Florian - if this is confirmed by you please mark as NEW and prioritize. Thanks!

File meta.xml inside of document contains this line:
meta:page-count="13"
Therefore Writer shows 13 pages immediatedly ater opening. It is correct.
This 13 pages remains in LO 3.3.2 and 3.4.0 on Mandriva 64 bit
So, possible regression. (in 3.4.0 page number remains 13, in 3.6.0 changes)
Comment 11 Florian Reisinger 2012-10-20 09:06:00 UTC
Agreed, regression.. + Confirm in comment #10
Comment 12 Björn Michaelsen 2014-03-17 14:06:24 UTC
This sounds like, we are starting from a corrupt file. Please provide a minimal testcase that is known to be a valid ODF file.
