Description oingman 2011-05-02 11:51:11 UTC
Hi!

I have buyed fonts in font-weight normal and bold as two files. But LO did not group this two files as one font. So i can use the normal weight and set it as bold by a "bolder-function", served by LO, and i can take the bolder font-file and make it bolder by the "bolder-funktion" of LO.

But this is wrong. Right is, have only one font to select an if i press "bold", LO should take the other font-file.

I attached a file. In the first line, it shows the bolder font-file, in the secound the normal font-file an maked bolder by the bolder-funktion of LO. There are some differences.

It was worked right on OOo, so there should some code whos do it right :)

[This is an automated message.]
This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it
started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed. The bug is
changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back
to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases.
Details on how to test the 3.5.0 beta1 can be found at:

@oingman@web.de:
In your original description, you mentioned an attachment, but there is no attachment in this bug report. This may be one reason why nobody has reacted to your report -- everybody thinks "Hey, he has still to add the attachment." So, could you please add it?

Also, could you please try if this issue is still a problem for you with the current LibreOffice version, i.e. 3.5.3 or better? There is some chance that this problem has been fixed in between.

Adding the 'regression' keyword, as the original description says that this worked fine in OOo.

no response from reporter in over a year, so closing for now - feel free to re-open with the required font data; thanks for reporting !
