Ctrl C will copy empty string to clipboard (even if the menu Copy is
disabled)

I'm afraid I do not understand all details of this report.

Expected of Menu 'Edig > copy' and <ctrl+c>:
If anything is selected, selected contents will be taken to clipboard.

If nothing is selected, <ctrl+c> will do nothing, existing clipboard contents will not be touched. You will menu item find inactive / greyed out.

That's exactly the behavior I see with "LibreOffice 3.4Beta5 – WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) German UI [DEV300m103 (Build:5)]".

If Clipboard contents would be replaced, that would be a bug.

Linux specific or no longer existing?

What version do you use to reproduce this bug? This bug should be reproducible with LibO 3.4 beta4 (and below) on both Linux and Windows.

Pls. see comment #1

OK, sorry. In LibO 3.4 beta5 this bug is fixed. But due to regressions caused by the fix, it seems we should leave it as open for a while.
