See original report!

I saw the problem with "LibreOffice 3.4Beta5 – WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) German UI [DEV300m103 (Build:5)]".

Steps to reproduce:
1. open attached "simplesample.odt"
2. <ctrl+a> for 'Select All'
3. <Del> for 'Delete'
Expected: all text will be deleted
Actual: Text from area with 2 or 3 columns will not be deleted

When I try to edit the document after deletion LibO often stops responding.

OOo 3.1.1 deletes without problem.

Deletion is a real fundamental edit operation, makes 3.4 unusable for me, so Prio. "high".

Confirmed. Delete fails and LibO crash under Win7. No problem with 3.3.2 -> regression

It's even worse, not only incomplete deletion: Undo does not really restore the old situation.

Thanks for testing

Please feel free to reassign if it's not your area!

For me this one is no longer reproducible with "LibreOffice 3.4.5 - WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) German UI [Build ID: OOO340m1 (Build:502)]" and with Parallel Dev-Installation of "LibreOffice 3.5.0 Beta3- WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) German UI [Build-ID: e40af8c-10029e3-615e522-88673a2-727f724]

It's OK for me too. LibO 3.4.5/Win7 64.
