Description Akira Matsumiya 2011-05-18 18:28:15 UTC
Japanese date format "YYYY年MM月DD日" is not recognized as a number on date type on Axis format in Chart

How to reproduce the problem.

Tool->Option->Language Settings->Languages->Locale setting "Japanese"

1.File->New->Spreadsheet
2.Input value A1=1/1,A2=1/2,A3=1/3,A4=1/4,A5=1/5 and B1=1,B2=2,B3=3,B4=4,B5=5
3.Select A1:B5
4.Create Column Chart(used Wizard)
5.Chart area double-click and right-click on X axis
6.[Format Axis] click on context-menu
7.[Scale]tab click and "Date" select in [Type]listbox
8.[Automatic]check-box in [Maximum] is unchecked
9.[Maximum]value changes "2011年1月5日" to "2011年1月3日"
10.Open dialog box "Numbers are required. Check your input."
11.[Maximum]value changes "2011年1月5日" to "2011/1/3" and [OK] click.
12.Open dialog box "Numbers are required. Check your input." again.
13.[Maximum]value changes "2011年1月3日" to "2011/1/3" and Enter key down.
14.Chart changes.

I think that date format changes "YYYY年MM月DD日" to "YYYY/MM/DD" in [Maximum] and [Minimum]text-box in Japanese locale.
