In LibO 3.3.2 and older, the border of the page header and footer was clearly visible. In 3.4rc1, it looks like it's gone, but the Print Preview shows the border very clearly. This is confusing, and make it easy to repeat actions twice because the user thinks the border is not set yet.
I see no difference in 3.4.0 on Ubuntu ... Which OS etc do you have?
Mageia 1 (Linux). Still reproducible with 3.4.0 final (which is the same as RC2).
Hi Frédéric, Could you pls post a screenshot, so that we can see the problem? thanks, Cor
Created attachment 50360 [details] Normal view Here is what you see when editing the text document. You think there is no border? Wrong! See the next screenshot...
Created attachment 50361 [details] print preview Same document, but now from the print preview. The border is very visible. This was what I got with LibO 3.3.2 in normal view. Oh, I forgot to say: the preview screenshot (and this one) is from LibO 3.4.2.
thanks, clear now. I thought you meant the separating line, boundary, but you talk about a line set as boarder. Sorry for my misunderstanding I see on 3.4.2 on Ubuntu that is is indeed barely visible with a width < 1.0 pt. However, when turning off the text boundaries (View > Text boundaries) the line boarder is visible very well. Also I see some improvement in 35master, where some work is ongoing on header/footer visibility. Therefore I take the freedom to assign this one to Cédric..
This is solved bij the changes in 3.5.0 with headers/footers and breakes
hope you like the new style, Frédéric :-)
