Created attachment 47567 [details] Mockup of drag&drop in the margin of the application window I believe this could be a great usability improvement in LibreOffice Impress. The cut&paste experience in OOo/LO could be greatly enhanced, if it would be possible to drag object to the margins of the application window and drop it there. If one would like to use this snippet again, it could be just possible to draw it back into the document and drop it there. As it is alway easier to explain something with pictures, please see attached images. The first image is a mockup, how it could look like in Impress. The second picture is a photo of an old Apple Newton Messagepad which had this great feature. And indeed, it was a very handy feature in the Newton Messagepad. Thank you very much for considering this idea!
