Not reproducible on LibreOffice 3.4 340m1(Build:12) for OpenSuse Linux.

Followed your steps exactly. No crash. Sometimes I accidentally copy the green box which fails to show up properly perhaps it is the origin of your crash? You have been very thorough with your steps, but is it possible you can provide more details on the situation? Have you tried with any other items on the clipboard? Or just this?

Does it crash if you paste it outside the footnotes/endnotes?

NOT reproducible with "LibreOffice 3.4.1RC1 - WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) German UI [OOO340m1 (Build:103)]"

@papalama
The crash might be related to particular LibO settings on your PC, please contribute your settings as complete as possible!

Don't know what has changed, but nor I can reproduce it anymore.
Before posting this bug-report checked few times and got crash invariably...
I'm sorry, but really just have no idea, in the course of this time even my system hasn't been restarted, nor even browser...
Comment 4 papalama 2011-07-05 16:08:10 UTC
Just got it back! :)
The matter is to use Google Chrome browser to fill clipboard. My one is version 12.0.742.112.
Nor site nor text seems to be making difference.
Comment 5 papalama 2011-07-05 17:07:44 UTC
Checked if it crushes while pasting into sheet's header or footer or sheet itself.
It does not. Formatted text inserted expected way.
Only while pasting into footnote/endnote.
My LibreOffice instalation has default settings.
Comment 6 papalama 2011-07-05 17:20:09 UTC
Btw, while Ctrl+Shift+V pasting by "Unformatted text" -> "OK", crash doesn't happen, just like while pasting plane text.
Sorry fo multiposting :)

papalama/Aleksey: 3.4.1 is quite old, any update with last LibreOffice version + Google Chrome more recent? (3.6.4)
