I have an RTF document containing a table. The document opens fine in various MS Office 2003 and 2010, but in LibreOffice, it is completely unreadable, the entire table is collapsed to one line. I don't know if that's important, but the RTF was generated by SAP (and AFAIR afterwards edited in Word 2010)

Reproduced with LO 3.4.1 (OOO340m1 (Build:101)) Ubuntu 10.04.2 x86 Linux 2.6.32-33-generic Russian UI
Just tested the same file in openoffice 3.3 mac, it works fine there
[Reproducible] with reporter's sample document and "LibreOffice 3.4.3 RC1 - WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) German UI [OOO340m1 (Build:301)]", for details see attached screenshots! Sample document looks fine with "LibreOffice Portable 3.3.3 - WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) German UI [OOO330m19 (Build:301 Tag 3.3.3.1)]" Please also see "Bug 40246 - FILEOPEN RTF: All rows or columns of table shown as one" and "Bug 37886 - FILEOPEN TABLES RTF cell content is shifted upward into other cells with table cells being deleted", what might have the same roots (or even be DUPs). @Miklós: Is your RTF initiative still active? Please feel free to reassign (or reset Assignee to default) if it’s not your area or if provided information is not sufficient. Please set Status to ASSIGNED if you accept this Bug.
Reiner, GSoC is already over, but given that now I'm the author of the writer rtf import/export filters, I try to fix bugs in them. flack, Can you test this on master, please? It has a brand new rtf import filter which parses the document almost fine, but the font in the table was not "Courier New", I just fixed that: http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=805aa2151e476a5e8e60806c7321ba7288f91813

Since all new unconfirmed bugs start in state UNCONFIRMED now and old unconfirmed bugs were moved to NEEDINFO with a explanatory comment, all bugs promoted above those bug states to NEW and later are automatically confirmed making the CONFIRMED whiteboard status redundant. Thus it will be removed.
